I just finished this one Sat morning at about 4:30am. This painting has been staring at me for the past 4 or so months. I have a few symbolic elements here that may become reoccurring: the pedestal, the barbed wire and the doll with it's soulless black eyes.
I plan on doing a companion piece to this one, hopefully by the fall.
